Dear Trevor,

Finally someone who has the virtue to standup and say what they think, God bless you. Nothing will ever being brought to perfection is concealed. People will tend to speak and write in code, they use encrypted messages as if they know something, (that they don’t),which leads to confusion, a tool of the devil (see for example Jim Lanigans’s first letter to me on our website www.crossoverchurches.org ). Everyone should say what they believe and say why. It is respectful that you would so respond and there is no detectable guile in our letter, or in you, your letter is pure. However that does not mean you understand and know the issues that are being addressed. We all only know in part and as the word says we see through a glass darkly and if any man thinks he knows anything he knows nothing as he ought to know. This is why we communicate and ought not to just dismiss something that a brother in the Lord brings to the table without even hearing or seeing it.

The loving manner that you may perceive in which one should “call him out” is really not just Tom, rather Tom and Andrea, although it is obvious that Tom wrote the letter, but he signed it Tom and Andrea which presumably she agreed to. The lovingness of this manner supposedly could be questionable under other circumstances, but your perceived judgments of the conditions wherein these actions may be considered flawed is flawed by your own beliefs. Herein is the love; you wrote in response to the open letter to Tom and Andrea and your correct conclusion that it should have been man to man, your belief which understandably is biased in that your close personal relationship could lead to blind loyalty that temporarily could cloud your judgment, wherein guile is not present, but hereafter such excuse is going to be removed, in love.. So lets clarify your full understanding, seeing that Tom has chosen a deceptive strategy to avoid issues in which he has been confronted with.

This critical appraisement is always rooted in the mannerism in which way the truth is delivered, not with the truth itself or its content, rather on the delivery. The truth is partly ignored so as to shelve the issue so as to address (the straw man) the delivery, this is deceptive, although I do not think you meant to be deceptive. This also parrots Tom and Andrea's position of their complacency with getting the truth out that will save lives. May it be said that Tom and Andrea are not the only ones to turn there shoulders, stop their ears, harden their hearts, and stiffen their necks to these issues. Your responding to my letter may work to leading others to coming out of the darkness of their matrix.

So to address the man to man issue, I have talked to Tom, face to face, on the phone, and finally sent him a hand written letter a few weeks ago, (which he did not even respond too directly) it is what Tom and Andrea have also failed to mention it their letter. The letter he sent, which the response you question, leaves you to make a judgmental conclusion without the full knowledge of what is going on. His letter does not address the letter that was hand written and sent to him, in fact the deception, in which he wrote this phony letter, is insulting and I am not buying his cute dismissal of the letter or the issues presented to him years ago. This (we love you) and the flowery blah, blah, blah, response is sickening. Believing it is the right thing to bring this to the attention of as many people as possible. I have also put the letter on our church website as I will this letter. You may want to read David Wilkerson's March 23, 2009 urgent letter for further confirmation. He also is raising these dire warnings and calls it a practical preparation. Time is short and you may also want to listen to these warnings. Although I feel the David Wilkerson is backslidden, (he does not maintain the King James), his warning has a partial warning, it’s really going to be much worse. Matthew 18 is now coming into play and everyone needs to wake up; judgment must begin in the house of God. A side bar Trevor: sometimes it is better to write thinks out, so as not to have wishy-washy conclusions or misunderstandings of what was said.

Trevor you judge this action of being unloving: in the manner in which would send such a message to all the people that know and love Tom and Andrea. Having explained to you how many times and ways that have been tried to minister to Tom and Andrea about the deadly dangers we all are facing. You say that Tom and Andrea love us, never said they didn’t or that Julie and I don’t love them, although you inferred the contrary. Cannot think of anything else more loving to do as a last ditch effort of waking someone up than calling everyone near enough to help, so far you are the only one willing to help. Speaking of Tom and Andrea loving us, it does seem strange for someone that loves you to ignore you, lies to you, and simply dismisses important information and will not even hear it or view something that may not only save their lives but that of our loved ones; is that a real friend? Are they really loving you and are they really our friends? Is this how lovers of Jesus Christ behave? What is loving, trying to warn and help you ,or those who dismiss the very information that would save your children’s lives? My God help us!

Am I going mad, is the truth so far from us that doing everything you can to proclaim it is unloving? Trevor, how shall they believe if they will not hear? How will they hear if the watchmen don’t sound the alarm? How can I do it any other way if I zealously don’t warn you of the coming judgment, will you also not listen to David Wilkerson either? Tom and Andrea need to wake up and repent; I withstand you all to the face, because you are to be blamed. You are poisoning yourselves, your children, and all that you could have been spared with the truth that in unrighteousness has been disposed of and ignored.

Accused of tending to cause people to doubt their salvation due to how the concern is presented and that it infers they are practicing hedonism. That is a new one to be accused of. Thought about that and must admit that Tom and Andrea would be hard pressed to be accused of self indulgences. Their belief intent is to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, but also believe they are not beyond being deceived, that is the point. The subtlety of the devil is capable of deceiving the very elect if possible, and telling the truth is not condemning. The message we are to receive is that we should love one another, herein is what was being spoken too, if your loved ones are being poisoned what is loving? Shouting it out or just waiting until Christ convicts them of it, come on, see even self evident reasoning is confuted with the deceptions that rules the day. Just for reference faith comes by hearing the word of God, not by a message, rather we are born again by an incorruptible word, not by our perceived message of God’s love, and certainly not by perversion of God’s words. So if we are to love one another as well as love our enemy, how much more natural is it to love the brethren in the fellowship of light.

1 John 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

So where is the love? Do we let our loved ones be murdered, poisoned, and deceived? Is this just a game to you all? Do we let lies go unchallenged? Where is the love, come on. If you say we will not have fellowship with them because we don’t like your zealous delivery, and will not receive the love of the truth, you are choosing to walk in darkness; you lie and do not the truth the word says.

That is why Tom and Andrea was called out, he lied and was lying and she when along with it; it was self proclaimed and self evident in their letter. Having always thought of Tom and Andrea as being Godly, is why they were called out, they ought not to behave in this dangerous matter. Sorry people don’t like how and what is being said, that’s too bad, people are going to perish for the lack of knowledge and their blood and their loved ones blood is going to be on someone hands.

Not accounting you as an enemy rather as a brother, be that more admonished and reproved in the faith. May this edify you and others in this word of warning; make yourself and others ready, the hour draweth nigh.

Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, and is the only begotten Son of God, praise his name.

Thanks for being honest Trevor.

To be honest

I am very saddened that you would send such a message to all

the people that know and love Tom and Andrea. If you feel the need to

call him out, do so in a loving manner.

That means man to man. I love you guys and respect your calling also.

Tom and Andrea do love you also, despite what you may think. We all see

the things that you are doing and agree with your intentions, but I

personally don't agree with how you are doing it. You tend to make

people question there salvation, which in return take them further from

the Lord not closer. I agree with you concerns with the other versions

of the Bible, and I to read the King James Bible, and I tell others of

my concerns with other versions, but I don't tell them they are

practicing hedonisticly. That is not our job to condem, our job is to

spread the message of Christs love, and let Christ convict them. You

helped me along in my decision to go with the King James, but it was the

Lord who put it on my heart to do so. And this message that you sent to

everyone on CALLING them out is one of the ways in which I do not agree

with you. Tom and Andrea are a Godley man and woman, both of which love

Jesus Christ with all there hearts, and are doing the will of God, which

is save the lost and make deciples. I don't know what you were trying to

get at with the scripture about love your enemy's, but you are not an

enemy of mine nor Tom and Andrea's. You're a brother in the Lord.

hey scott

sorry that i had the tapes so long i am sending them back to you. i know i told julie i would watch them. Just didn’t have time and i was not interested at all. i know its your passion but its not mine, but that’s ok in life people drift apart because of different callings.mother threasa was called to pick up dieing people off the streets and that calling was not for everyone, and that was her passion.the last time i talked to you i told you our roads were parting.i have to say i will miss those talks on my porch.and out there in the beautifal mountains.you will always be my friend and always in my prayers.i wish you Gods speed for the furthering of the gospel and the blessing of God on you family.andrea and i can not wait to see were God is takin us in this new part of our life.our service to Jesus has been stronger than it ever has so we both covet your prayers as we move into the direction that God has called.well as forest gump said, that’s all i got to say about that, (hillbilly inflection)

                                                                                                GOD BLESS

                                                                                     tom and andrea

Dear Tom and Andrea,

I am so very saddened by your letter you sent to me. I must call you out on this as your position is so very dangerous, not only to yourselves, but to our mutual loved ones. Your observations are curious in that your analysis is antithetic to the love of Jesus Christ. Herein you draw nigh unto Jesus with your mouth (or herein your letter), but your actions betray you to oppose the gospel of Jesus Christ, wherein you not only drift from the love of Christ but go on to strengthen the hand of the evil doer. As you mentioned those talks on our porches; I had developed an opinion that our like passion was the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

I'm not sure you even understand your implications you inferred in your accusational conclusions; your mind-set is revealed and betrays you.  If the word of God does not fit your passion and you are willing to accept perversion as versions of God’s words, you may need to revaluate your passion. What has happened to you that you just lie and justify it without a thought? Not only did you lie to Julie about watching the information we gave you, but you then go on to lie again twice saying that you did not have time to watch them, (having them for nearly a year would qualify you as having enough time to watch them) and again you said you where not interested at all, (if that was true why did you take the DVDs), unless you where being a phony or just being deceptive from the beginning? See, you don’t even see yourself lying. Your phony letter makes me sick, you need to repent. The divination of Satan has sucked you into a vortex of a paradigm that your reality is so far from the truth that you are believing a lie.

Why do I care; it is the love of Jesus Christ that propels me to react to the recklessness of your actions. You call me friend yet you will not listen to me unless I agree with you. You say people drift apart and our roads are parting, I tell you I have not drifted and have not parted rather it is you that has parted unto another road. I must reaffirm unto you I am remaining on the solid rock which is Jesus Christ the Word of God; I have not drifted anywhere and remain on the way of truth and life which is in Jesus Christ and him alone. If you think there is any drifting or departing it is you that has gone astray, repent and depart not from the faith.

What is profound is that you would mention “Mother Theresa” as if that was a suitable passion to be admired and attained in likeness, how appropriate to associate to one that denied the word of God, his gospel, and was the portrait of those who did all those wonderful works that Jesus called workers of iniquity.

This other spirit that does always resist the Holy Ghost which you are bowing to, needs to be cast down, repent. When you support those who prorogate perversions of God’s words, his gospel, and in reality another Jesus; you are being deceived as Jesus so persistently warned us not to be deceived by the false Christs and prophets, that were very capable to deceive the very elect, repent.

Where is the love of one another, loving your neighbor, and even your enemy; will you let them be murdered? If you continue on this road of death you will suffer with the knowledge that you rejected the truth and warning from the watchmen. The blood of your loved ones will be on your hands, which will not wash off, as Pilate tried to do in his willful ignorance.

We are in a spiritual battle of good and evil, you need to resist the god of this world and turn your cheek to evil. Now is the time wherein you are called, enter the battle, get knowledge of his will with wisdom to apply it, and with your getting, get understanding and be not simple minded but quit yourself like men in the virtue of manliness.

I cannot wish you God’s speed, wherein you are now involved in preaching another Jesus, and another spirit and the curse of it all, another gospel, repent.

Finally this is a last warning, time is running out fast, the suddenly's are comming

Ø      King James is the only English bible, all the rest are perversions and are satanic verses and doctrines of devils, and are responsible for the overcoming of the saints and the apostasy from the church.

Ø      Get informed on what is going on in this country it is your responsibility, don’t be deceived by the main stream media, and false versions of God’s words and their preachers. Strengthen the things that remain.

Ø      Prepare for the worst as the time of trouble is at the door.

o       Cash in your money now, it is going to be worthless very soon.

o       This includes all retirement, 401Ks, IRAs, and any unnecessary fiat currency, stock, bond anything with a current value to it:

§         Buy food supply, and other necessities, not only for yourselves but other loved ones that will not listen to wisdom.

§        Exchange it for some gold and silver, which will also be worthless to, but will have temporally value in the interim of transitions

§         Purchase some defensive weapons, pepper spray for sure, guns and ammo will be helpful but probably will be confiscated but you should have at least one or two if possible.

Please receive this in the love of Jesus Christ

Response to 2nd Letter from Jim

Dear Jim,

How can I help you? I really want to. I answer your ten questions the best I could. Did you read my letter, did you listen to the CD on Bible Version Issues Explained, watch the DVDs End Game, Terror Storm, Loose Change, and Are Vaccine Safe, read the tracts from Gail Riplinger???? And that was just a start. I really do not believe you did. I can tell just by the way you talk, or in this case, write.

Your concern about me and my family is faulty at best; it focuses on imagery or immaterial weaknesses, and is totally rooted in false teaching, and is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and is not anywhere in the bible, in fact it is totally contrary to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Transformation is out of this world’s mind set, but your being (made whole doctrine) by some inner healing is devilish, totally rooted in new age doctrine not in the word of God.

I would call you out to repent, quit chasing these winds of doctrines.

Let me tell you something, all you need to do is follow Jesus Christ, The Word of God. Enter into his rest, be at peace with him, Jesus has done it all, be merciful no need to micromanage, Jesus is in control, and all you should do is follow, proclaim the truth through his word, and this is the grace you are called to.

You as well as others are under a spell, it is sorcery, and you are dealing with divination and deliverance is in order. You are living in a false paradigm, wake up. Your love is confuted, I am calling you to charity, be your brothers keeper and love your neighbor and your enemy also.

Please hear, open your eyes, you have been bewitched, trust in God’s grace, Jesus Christ’s strength is made perfect in the weakness that you are so concerned to get rid of so you can be whole, Jesus is in control, please trust him.

Jim, the whole world as well as the church is under total attack, and many are perishing that could have been rooted in the love of Jesus Christ, and many are falling from grace, don’t you care? Stop, forgive, who cares about the past, forget it, put it behind you. Jim we are sanctified by truth, the word of God, all of our supposed wounds, fractures, and hurts, are rooted in a false reality, and needs to be put behind us not gone over again, all things are become new, forgetting those things behind. Look what is happening right now, reach for those things before us, why don’t you care, where is the love?
What are you afraid of? You are the one that the Holy Ghost will use, but you need to wake up. I’m telling you now is the time, it is all coming to past as the word of God said right now. Don’t be sidetracked with false signs and wonders, false teachers, false versions of the bible, winds of doctrines of men. You are lost in a false paradigm, come out of her and be not a partaker of her plagues, please wake up and start waking others up, fire up your lamp, this is it, the bridegroom is coming. Please hear what the Spirit has to say, open the door, Jesus is knocking, let him in.

This is the grace we are called to, know your God.

Please Jim, wake up, I am telling you, you need to wake up, now is the time, now the word of God is calling you to wake up.  Jesus is coming soon, what will he find you doing? Put away your idols.

In the love of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,

Scott, brother in Jesus Christ

Dear Scott and Julie,

“Well, this is a fine mess you’ve got me in Ollie”…quote Oliver and Hardy…no chapter…no verse.

I sent my first letter to you Scott after getting Julie’s request to Debbi on email to check out your web site.  I felt it was my responsibility as her covering to respond instead of her.  That was my call, and I suspect it was the beginning of opening up this conflict among us all in the family.  I’m not apologizing for my letter or the attitude it was sent.  I personally believe and still do love you guys with a deep love.  It goes deep because we not only are family but lovers of God in Christ Jesus.  Unlike many Christians, scripture does tell us to confront each other with matters that can affect our relationships with God and each other as well as the rest of the world.

It is and always has been my motive to guard our hearts, yours and mine alike from issues that can hurt us.  The pain of our relationship at this time is not one to destruction.  God calls us to deal with our hearts.  He is a God of confrontation.  Jesus did say he came to bring a sword…it is the sword of his word.  That sword is such that divides soul and spirit, joint and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.  That was my reason for writing the previous letter.  As Christians we are to always consider what the thoughts and intents of our hearts are.  Everything we do is directly attached to our soul, mind, will and emotions), and must be properly discerned against the spirit of the word to keep it in check.

Whenever our soul man has been injured, wounded, or harmed in any way our judgment can be affected by it.  We must take our heart motivated in part by our hurts and sift them by the Spirit of the Lord.  They must be taken captive and properly discerned.  If not, we will be driven by those feelings, while still wounded, on to a quest to feel whole by adopting a righteous platform to declare our control over our fractured lives.

This is what I feel has happened to you and your family.  Our cry to God through many tears and compassionate prayers have always been for your healing of soul and spirit.  I’m sorry Scott, but all things are not made new in Christ.  Positionally, we are seated in heavenly places with him.  We are his children and we do inherit the promises because of what Jesus did on the Cross for us.  But we are told to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.  You guys need to quit negating the fact that your are still hurting in your hearts.  Your lifelong wounds are not all healed.  There are still secrets of the heart that need to be revealed amongst yourselves to bring about that healing.  If your arm is broken…you can’t claim the scriptures on healing to fix it.  It needs to be set again.  Could God do it?  Sure!  Does he usually do it that way?  No.

You might say…”What hurts are you talking about?”  “What do you know about that I don’t know?”  God will tell you.  But we all have them.  It is the enemy’s common way to hurt us even long before our conversion to Jesus.  Wouldn’t it be nice to claim all is well and poof!... there it is.  Positionally yes, on this earth, not yet…but we still keep praying for his kingdom to come (with healing and wholeness) and his will to be done, don’t we.

Debbi and I have had the Lord do many a work on our broken hearts.  And yes, perhaps we’ve been there too long at times.  But we know that the events of our past, even as spirit filled believers need to be revisited as God directs, I might add because of the sensitivity of our hearts, to get complete victory in todays world.  Why am I saying all this.

I believe with all my heart that the good will, good intentioned and even righteously motivated call you all have attested to, which will in fact get peoples attention and perhaps even change some things, is a deception to sidestep your own personal hearts healing within your family.

You have selflessly invested much time, effort and money with great passion into this endeavor.  I feel you have transferred the intensity of your wounded hearts to that of your cause to correct the errors of social injustice in government and that of the other versions of the bible.  As true as those injustices may be, God is trying to help you out of this stressful, driving force that is obstructing his work in healing you and your family.

The fruit of your passion is dividing the family, not drawing it together.  The whole KJV argument is only a cloak for all the underlying issues still not being addressed.  Your wounds unattended like all of us send us in to a protective mode.  Our prayers unanswered so they seem, frustrates us, makes us feel abandoned by God at times and the church.  You’ve been rejected both in your youth before Christ and after in spiritual circles that you have been attached.  These unsettled hurts left unattended are in fact opportunities for the enemy to lay his larva in our hearts.  We try to control the pain with promises and take on righteous causes to prove our acceptance in our own minds, though getting rejected by those around us.  Though we may bear fruit on some fronts, we find ourselves compulsively pushing and striving to be heard.  It is this strife in our hearts that we should be warned.  It is a red flag sent from God.

James 3:14-18 says it well.  As we are damaged in this world Satan takes advantage of us.  Though in some external ways we prosper, inwardly we still bleed.  The truth of the matter is that our feelings of abandonment and lack of control push us into situations that cause strife.  The strife leads to misunderstanding, and confusion.  If we have the grace to step back and look at what’s really happening, we will find that we basically feel deprived in our hearts and passed over by God.  No matter how hard we try, we can’t help to compare our condition with others and fall prey to envy of others wholeness.  Why can’t we get free?  So we passionately claim the scriptures for making us whole.  We become legalistic, stout and stiff-necked, because we’re basically sick and tired of being short changed.  Consequently, we conclude it must be we’re not doing enough to be blessed by God.  He must not be too pleased with my works…that’s why I’m  still hurting inside and falling short everywhere.  Sorry, another trap.

That’s the enemy’s performance trap.  But most of us fall into it somewhere along our walk in Christ.  The deeper we fall and believe it, the harder we fight to feel right about ourselves.  In the midst of the entire struggle, we have no peace…what happened to it?  Weren’t we getting some results in what we were doing?  Sure, that’s part of the deception.  We reason we’re benefiting somewhere, so we must be on the right track.

I felt that way while I was in music ministry years ago.  People came to me all the time and told me they’ve been blessed.  I sensed and felt the power of the Holy Ghost while I was on the podium.  I spent countless hours preparing for ministry; Prayer, looking over song lists and practice nights ending in passionate ministry for two services a week on Sunday.  Sounds good doesn’t it?  God used me.  It was wonderful.  And as Pastor often said, he felt he had to reach up sometimes and grab me by the feet to end the worship service.  I truly entered a special place and did my best to take the congregation with me.  Was that wrong, no.  But there were personal matters at home I was not addressing.  There were issues with Debbi and I that were being neglected by me.  Why.  Because it was easier to exhaust myself being spiritual and intimate with ministry than to humble myself and deal with my own heart at home.

I was afraid to tackle something at home that I felt I had no answers.  I had no courage to look the situations in the face and deal with them.  I was chained by my own choices and fears of failure.  And I looked good at Church while neglecting them at home.  Of course no one else knew about them.  And I didn’t either!  No matter what Debbi said to get my attention to matters, I “couldn’t see the forest for the trees”.  It’s not needful to discuss them here.  The point is that a Godly man can continue to function in the gifts of the Holy Ghost and still neglect to do what’s right on personal matters of the heart.  Just look at all the faithful who have fallen in the news or even in scripture.  What’s my point.  Can we continue to walk in our own deception and still bless others.  For a time, yes.  Then God will pull on our lifeline and say, its enough.  It’s time to be real, transparent and vulnerable with ourselves.

This is what is happening pertaining to you Scott and Julie and extended family.  This is a wake up call, an alarm, a red flag from God brought about in part by me.  Yea…what fun… not!  I am the king of non-confrontation, especially when it involves me.  But by the grace of God I’ve changed a lot…just ask Debbi.  Hey, we haven’t arrived yet.  We still are battling the flesh and praying for our children’s’ own personal conversion and passionate walk with God to occur.  We’re not perfect and don’t intend on making us out to look like it either.  But we do know a few things about the matters of the heart.  Scripture tells us to comfort one another with the comfort we have received.  That goes beyond telling a nice story.  It goes into the pain and agony of working things out in prayer and conversation by the Spirit to gain the peace that Jesus said was rightfully ours.

Has he given us his peace.  Of course.  Do we have it all the time, no way.  Can we get it.   Absolutely.  But we must be wise stewards of his word to get it and maintain it.  Our enemy has been planning our demise long before we accepted Jesus.  He beat us throughout our life, hoping in the end to spoil us with woundedness that will prevent our healing, sidetrack our way, upset our peace, and riddle our path with strife, confusion and division.  This is not our inheritance.  If we see this in our lives, we must be mature enough to receive it as God’s voice attempting to warn us of coming disaster.  Yes, disaster.

My personal feelings of exaltation, control and joy in ministry was checked by God because it was underlying in hypocrisy, and I didn’t even know it.  I was deceived, still ministered by God’s grace to those who needed it, but deceived nonetheless.  And the reality is this:

14  “But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.”

15  “This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.”

16  “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”

17  “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”

18  “And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.”

God wants to do a deeper work.  Can we stop it.  The sad fact is, Yes.  But it will cost you and all of us.  It already has.  The more we cling to control our side of this argument, the harder the Holy Ghost will prod us to give in.  My letters are nothing compared to the depths He will go to get your attention.  Please take them seriously.  I want to make peace.  But peace comes at a cost.  Jesus did say he came to bring a sword.  This is the sword he was talking about.  The sword of Godly correction in love.  It bruises our egos, our platforms, our intellectual pride and our pocketbooks.  So what!  If it brings life…the rest means nothing.  Paul figured it out.  But he had to be knocked down and blinded to find out.  How far do you have to go to hear his call to repentance and wholeness.  It’s all a matter of trust.  Can you trust me?  Maybe not.  But He will confirm everything I am saying.  What manner of spirit are you of?...I know what manner of spirit I am of…I love you…and I am looking out for your best interest in Christ.  God help us all to follow his Spirit in these matters.

Yours in Christ,

Jim Lanigan

Response to Jim's first letter

Dear Jim,

God bless you, and thank be to God your caring and thoughtful time you had to take to write[1]. It shows me you really love me and care enough to take the time to engage in such an analysis of the truth[2], wherein the taste of such liberty prepares the heart of the sender and the receiver[3]. I know that when one takes time to rightly divide the word of God, it makes them really divide and think what they really believe[4]. To articulate it is a challenge when you have to write it down[5]. I think everyone should connect with their love ones some what in this way[6], because words really do mean something[7]. When we have maturity to calm our emotions and direct our intent with hindsight of our pass trials and tribulations it can clarify issue not only with others but with our own selves[8].   I respect that you are courageous to write out not only what was on our mind but what is in your heart[9]. Indeed the honesty we are fasten too[10], it besieges the walls of separation[11] they we sometimes dare not breach in person[12]. Although I feel your letter was accusatory, insinuating and judgmental and was not meek at all, I take no offense[13], but rather look at it as an opportunity[14].

Truth rises to no other conclusion than to what God has called us too, the holiness[15] that separates us from all others[16] and joins us to those so in such a love[17]. Righteousness is such a desire[18], that “ Moral Resolve” stages God’s glory[19], consequences are not found in the balance of the true believers motives[20]. Love is our only defense against the weapon that has restrained and hindered the overcomers,[21] fear may cause the unsanctified hearts of men to fail[22] so ensnared in there conceptual relationships,[23] as that of contemporized main stream Christian man void of the words of life[24]. But those that know their God shall do exploits[25] that neither they and anyone could anticipate[26], so build up in the Holy Ghost[27] ministering the words of God[28]; encouraged to fight the good fight[29], taking up the sword of the Spirit[30] and unashamed[31] proclaim the truth[32] in face of all and any[33], therein speak the rightly divide word[34] that the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force[35].

God’s word the faith substance[36] that sustains by unwavering testimony of this love[37] so illustrated in one man the Son of the living God[38], wherein just the proclamation of this name Jesus[39], Jesus of Nazareth[40], Jesus the Christ of God[41], the rock that shores up the feet of the stand that we should take[42]. When the enemy comes in like a flood the standard which the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up[43], these words that are higher[44] than the words of men, their infectious perverted versions[45] whose concealed goals are to destroy, encumber, obstruct, and hinder God’s peoples. These men truthfully do oppose themselves with there NIV, NASV, NKJV, Living Translations, and the other 150 or so perverted versions, they will be found to be lairs[46].

We know that the day of the Lord will not take us that know his Word unaware[47]. As we see the times and discern in the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ, we can only ascertain that the times are major.[48] We see the apositasy so much clearer as the church falls into these version perversions[49] of the tried and trued methods of Satan, “yea hath God said”[50]. What is sad and breaks my heart is to see and experience is that very brethren[51] whom should have known better would repent from such wickedness; rather they strengthen the hands of these evil doers[52]. If the revenge of God is not against these the 5th seal of Revelation[53] would make the four horsemen seem out of place. Blinded by there own false righteousness[54] they preach another gospel to the Curse[55] that so surely follows to the plagues of all those who refused to come out of her[56], so dually[57] and finally warned[58] . I hope you hear what I am saying, for where much is given much is required[59], wherein you have entered into a passion[60] that assuredly will have its own consequences. [61]  .

Is this not the fast we should chose to let the captive go free[62], trapped in there own knowledge[63] and wisdom[64] with the feigned words that make merchandise of them with there copyrighted perverted versions[65].  This infection that has become acceptable as light of righteousness[66] of which so many ignored the warnings[67] which caused this strong delusion to the believing the lie of these perverted versions.[68] The beheading of those true to the Word of God will find its conclusion as those under the altar waiting for that coming day[69]. What mystery is it that prophesies that is would be sweet in the month but bitter in the belly[70]? With such a worldly recognition of these intellects[71] who are elevated above those wise by the words of God[72], how could not meekness be but the only way to instruct those to repentance[73].  Rather now when such an ensamples[74], in the love of the Lord rightly dividing the word, arises as warning to those whom by compassion make a difference[75].  Then there are others that go the way that will not hear or see[76] forgetting the old ways[77] that lead to such an end time judgment[78].

Questions

  1. But is it scriptural? The passive aggression of the insinuation that asserts the some how I am wielding my own righteous sword and acting out of scriptural authority. The straw man of this assertion is some what like one asking how long have you been beating your wife. Where you have attained that I am wielding my or any sword to correct some or any social injustice I can only guest. You do not specifically refer to anything I am doing or saying. Could I use Job’s proclamation tell me what I did wrong? How can I answer you except just agree it is not scriptural to “wield our righteous sword”, or I don’t beat my wife either
  2. Has God called us to this task? This linking follow up question is somewhat misleading, is it methodology or is it that we should not even take issues with social injustice? Surly you do not think a Christian should not be concern with the social issues that affect the fabric of society and especially what governs the very Church of God. It must be the methodology of how we deal with these illness and afflictions and the very sin that is killing us. Surly, you are not that passive. The inference here is that it is a task you are accusing me of; that I am wield a self righteous sword, literately and self righteously, in some fake gallant chivalrous knightly method. Wow what can I say, I have to again guest where you came up with this, and again I have to agree if this is the accusations you are make against me, it would be a fruitless endeavor, and a poor methodology to engage the evils that we face.
  3. How did Jesus do it?  This question follows a preamble of how you tried Jesus’ method when dealing with the money changers in the temple, and how it felled you and slim you and others even though you won the battle but lost the war, and then wrapped it in cutting off an ear, and the side tracking, back to a self righteous sword. What I finally concluded that you have dismissed Jesus’ method of actions in the temple as unfruitful and we should not defend ourselves or others. Doctrinally you take a position against the sword as stated in Matthew 26:52[79] however you misquoted the Bible and interjected the perverted reading of the verse found in the NKJV, it may be little to you but God warns against doing it, it is a manipulation of God’s word to change his words. I do not think you did this intentionally, you just have been infected, and it alters your understanding, and makes you think you understand something you don’t understand; therefore you end you speaking evil of things you don’t understand. I fell this is how you created another straw man and my position is that of Peter in the Garden, carelessly wielding by self righteous sword not only now against injustice but as a defense too. I can only say your straw man in not accurate as your stating of Matthew26:52 and this is how I can only guest you made this up. Next I do not think Jesus did the wrong thing in the temple or did his method fail, what the difference can be is that  Jesus choose the right time, place and people to direct his actions and was victorious with this method and our failures in emulating Jesus in anything way does not make Jesus wrong. The word sword or swords appears in 404 verses it seems to have a positional attentiveness negatively and positively, either way in the end it use finalizes the out come of the remnant of the unsaved[80] world.[81] There are two scriptures I would pose to you;[82] why did Jesus tell his disciples to buy a sword, the minister of God beareth not the sword in vain, why did the founding fathers of the Untied States have the 2nd Amendment.[83] In The Bill of Rights, where they all so foolish. I will tell you what I feel is foolish, you can not make war with the beast with the carnal weapons, guns and bombs will not work. So where ever you got your idea that I have some militant idea to fight the government by arm force, you are wrong, it would be foolishness, and you are totally wrong to accuse, insinuate, judge or assert that I believe that or propagated it or support anyone that does. I believe Jesus does everything right and I will follow and listen to him.  You may want to read this article; http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin431.htm
  4. What power are we wielding: Our own strength, wisdom, manipulations of truth? A good scripture that goes with this question is 2Peter 3:16[84] how often do you hear the excuse I read this VERSION because I can understand it, how appropriate the word wrest is.[85]  So ascribes the fall of so great apostasy that so infects the main stream persona of the righteousness of God.[86] How appropriate the Jesus answers the tempter in the wilderness with the whole word of God.[87] What great warning does Peter follow up with of the coming falling away.[88] Now have I become the enemy of those I restrain not the truth from[89]or should I sleep like the dumb dogs that God rebukes.[90] Jesus again warns if it where possible even the elect shall be deceived[91], how much more can it be possible if one would heed perverted words[92] of these false prophet that preach there false Christ through there other gospel.[93]
  5. Is it God’s message to save the world through Jesus Christ’s shed blood? Only one place does “save the world” appears and it is not by Jesus Christ’s shed blood, but rather is it by receiving God’s words. However, to ease your concern, the shed blood of Jesus Christ is very much included in God’s words. The calling to crossover is different than you are suggesting. Whatever you attain this hellish crazy gossips you wherein you make these slanderous and hateful assertions, I would suggest you rebuke these propagators, in the name of Jesus Christ. Again I suggest you read our take on the name Crossover. What would be humorous if not for the seriousness of vicarious attack against our ministry; is that Crossover inferiors coming out of the wilderness in the power of the Spirit. What is odd that the Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, which is the methodology of grace and truth Jesus came with. The works of devil and where it accrues is not within you, therein dwells the Holy Ghost[94], and Kingdom of God[95], and literally Jesus Christ.[96] When one by the grace of God stands in truth this reflects the light of Christ. Herein underlines Jesus methodology, it is not by force of the carnal weapons of warfare, but rather by the infowar[97] of truth, and the Spirit will lead us into all truth.[98]  You may not think that Christians should insert themselves into the political arenas, but I believe God will judge those with such a callus attitude[99]. What ever happen to love thy neighbor or your enemies for that matter, how about being your brother’s keeper, it sounds like Cain and Balaam.[100] It seems that attitude is very unloving; it reminds me of the pre-tribulation rapture crowd who don’t care about anything coming at us, because after all they are going to get rapture, how convenient.  Maybe we should just let the ungodly rule over us, would that be what God wants, we could be that tail instead of the head.[101] The world is never going to change, but I do agree that changing hearts is where it is at.
  6. Paul was a mature man of God, he was learned, a man of reputation, position, influence, power and authority, what did he do with it?  Saying Paul only use his attribute for contrast I feel is not accurate, one time he tried to used his influence to join the disciples Jerusalem[102], another time he ask if it was legal to scourge a Roman[103] another time he besought the Lord thrice[104], then there was his nephew he used[105],I really do see what wrong with using what God has given you if it is brining Glory to the Lord. What Paul was contrasting was what I said before having a PHD or a Master Degree in theology means nothing in comparison to knowing Jesus. The wilderness experiences of purifications of our inward man you are talking about really may be appropriate; I think that Paul immediately conferred not with flesh and blood.[106] Paul made it certain the gospel he preached was not after man.[107] This is the very focus of Crossover Ministry, which why it is very strong against the perverted versions that have polluted the fabric of society.[108]
  7. Can you trust him to strip you of all of you? When God sealed us with that holy Spirit of promise, it was the consequence of us trusting and believing on him.[109] Your conclusions to the call into the wilderness seem contrived and self centered, what about your family[110] what about your neighbor[111], what about esteeming others and look not on our own.[112] When one is born again it is like crossing over the Jordan from the Wilderness into the Promise Land. This stripping away you are talking about is wrong, when we are born again, all things are become new[113]. What are you trying to strip away; shouldn’t we be walking in the newness of life,[114] being in the likeness of his death we are also in the likeness of his resurrection[115] is not our old man crucified, this is why we take up our cross and follow Jesus, not that we need any stripping but because we already are.
  8. Will you do it? I am his workmanship before ordained;[116] I can do nothing without him[117] without the words of God abiding in me I can not abide in him.[118] This inter healing is redundant when I was converted he healed me. I have been washed; sanctified and justified[119] he has washed us from our sins.[120] I  know nothing more can be done; I thought when I fell on Jesus I was broken[121], or even that Jesus was broken for me.[122]
  9. Are you willing to take the scriptural mandate to give up yourself for more of Jesus? Satan certainly is crafty, [123] actually cunning craftiness[124] man made doctrines, methods of handling the word of God, wherein we be wise not to again be entangle in  a never ending yoke of bondage[125] I think I will choose to walk in the Spirit, in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, truth[126].
  10. Why not allow the Holy Ghost to change you from glory to glory? I see Jesus[127] and his very image changes me[128], there is no righteous work I can do, so Jesus’ blood on the mercy seat will do for me[129], I am glad that he was wounded for me and his stripes healed me[130], that his yoke is easy and my burden is light.[131] I would ask you why do you tempt God?[132] Is it not by the hearing of the word of God that faith comes by?[133] What then shall our testimony be that we wandered in our wilderness or God’s wilderness, or whatever one you think I should run to, for the purification of ourselves, so that Jesus’ blood can pour from our wounds, I think I rather know him, in the fellowship of his sufferings, than in his sufferings[134] it’s more scriptural. I would finish and answer the totality of you questions and doctrinal positions with Galatians 2:20  [135];

Galatians 2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I will congratulate you for you accomplishing your missions to help me rightly divide the word of truth; however I will reproof you in that you should examine yourself, [136] for I have given you an answer,[137] in good conscience[138] showing who really do oppose themselves.

I would admonish you to go to them in meekness[139] before it is too late, for the labors are few[140] and pray with me that Lord would send more[141], is this not the fast that the Lord has chosen? Time is running out,[142] hear the Word of the Lord, 2 Chronicles 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  Read Jeremiah 23 and Isaiah 58 know that God is not playing around, his words are holy, and man ought not to change them[143]. This is the sin that so easily beset them[144]. Be of good courage and do it, fear not.[145]Many will be lost if they do not repent and latter end will be worse that the beginning.[146]

3772 karath

to cut (off, down or asunder); by impl. to destroy or consume; spec. to covenant (i.e. make an alliance or bargain, orig. by cutting flesh and passing between the pieces)

Apparent cross over words 1303 in Greek and 3772 in Hebrew seeing they are quoting the same passage.

I can understand why the KJB translated the word antidiatithemai to oppose themselves as does the ASV, all other translation fulfill the scripture in that they literally cut themselves off, by mistranslated and changing God’s word

Letter to Scott from Jim 1st Letter

The Road Less Traveled

Letter to Scott Simons

Dear Scott,

It’s been years since we sat together in Ray and Carol’s trailer sharing scripture and praying for Salvation and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.  As different as we are in personalities, employment, activities and such, there is one area of unity the two of us has shared.  That on meeting place for the two of us God anointed and opened up into an exciting adventure of knowing Him, Jesus and his wonderful love and acceptance.

Personally, I was most impressed by God’s acceptance of me, as wicked and sinful as I was, as he adopted me as his son and shared with me his heart.  That revelation of my creator’s love for little me, is what drove me to help others to see his forgiveness and acceptance.  It’s what fired my spirit to pour into you with great intensity almost a “Holy Ghost fury” his wonderful love for you.

Life has come at me, my marriage and my children with another fury to overcome, sidetrack, derail and defuse any and all of that fire God had placed in my heart.  I’ve all but become almost burned out physically and emotionally over the years as result of the onslaught of the cares of this world and trials it has brought us.

Lately, God has been throwing us a safety net to catch us in our weakness and “feeble knees” condition.  He has been in the process of simplifying and redirecting our focus.  I’m finding out that there are even deeper meanings to scriptures I thought I knew.  As trials have taken us into brokenness and total dependency on Jesus, not even what we knew could sustain us: We’ve come to and continue to abandon ourselves “Looking unto Jesus” (Heb12:2), and boldly falling onto his mercy seat when we need help. (Heb4:16).

It is with this abandonment and trust that we have found a deeper “rest” then we’ve ever experienced in our walk with Jesus. (Heb4:9-11).  We have begun to realize the joy of abandoning our own works, even the support of our past victories, for the joy of falling into the arms of Jesus.  It’s so much easier.  God has truly taken us from knowing nothing to revealing much.  Then he has taken us through a wilderness of life where he’s shown us the value of abandoning our pride of what we’ve learned for the peace and rest of clinging to Jesus as a little child.

Matthew 11:25   “…and hast revealed them unto babes…”

Luke 18:16-17    “…little children…for of such is the kingdom of God…”

“…receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein…”

Romans 14:17   “…for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost…”

Now this whole “childish” thing might bring you to remember 1 Corinthians 13:11-13.

I Cor. 13: 11-13

11“When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.”

12 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:        now I know in part; but then shall I know even also as I am known.”

13      “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of these is charity.”

Now we have both become men.  And the issues of life scream in our ears of many unjust and unfair activities in the world.  As the world escalates into confusion, strife, and envy and every evil work, each one of us is tempted to jump into this pool of chaos and wield our righteous sword to correct it.  It sounds good and noble.  It looks quite the gallant chivalrous knightly thing to do.  But is it scriptural?  Has God called us to this task?  Attached is a series of scriptures I’ve studied pointing me in the direction of personal yet corporate maturity in Christ Jesus:

The Word

Mat. 24:35

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

All Scripture

II Tim. 3:16-17

16      “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

17      That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

One God, One Mediator, The Truth

I Tim. 2:3-6

3   “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our saviour:”

4          “Who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth,”

5          “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”

6          “Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”

Opened Their Understanding

Lk. 24:44-45

24       “And he said unto them, these are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms concerning me.”

25       “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures…”

Study, Rightly Dividing

II Tim. 2:15

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Received the Word as Truth

I Thess. 2:13

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”

The Word of God…a Sword

Heb. 4:12

“For the Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

We are Christ’s House

Heb. 3:6

“But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we…”

Purge Our House

II Tim. 2:20-21

20         “But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.”

21         “If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”

Holy Spirit Quickens Our Bodies

Rom. 8:11

“But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

“Ye”…Mortify the Bodies Deeds

Rom. 8:13

“…but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”

Beware of Unsound Doctrine

II Tim. 4: 3-4

3         “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;”

4         “And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

Recover Yourself…Being Captive

II Tim. 2:25-26

25      “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;”

26      “And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

Destroy Images of False Gods

Exodus 23:24

“Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.”

Serve God…Takes Away Sicknesses

Exodus 23:25

“And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.”

What God Requires of Us

Micah 6:8

“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

What’s God’s Will for Us

I Thess. 4:3

“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification…”

Giving Thanks

I Thess. 5:18

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Preserved Blameless

I Thess. 5:23

“And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Many times, I’ve done it myself, my feelings have directed me to what I felt was righteous indignation.  I could compare myself to Jesus driving out the money changers in the temple.  The end result usually was me winning a battle but losing the war.  I got my say, but I slimed myself and others as I fell into the same argumentative spirit that brought contention; the very thing I wanted to stop I became deceived in taking part of it.

So, Scott, I come to you in meekness, a Christian friend, brother in the Lord Jesus, to point your face in a direction most men refuse to go.  It is a road less traveled.  It is a road where pride and accomplishments are worthless.  Every righteous cause and track record is burned up in the fire.

God is regrouping his men, his sons for a different kind of warfare.  It’s not with the swords of the disciples as seen during his betrayal.  Remember Jesus put back the ear of the High Priest’s servant and healed it.  Swords were not the answer then.  And it’s not now either!

We men have been sidetracked into battles with the enemy God has never called us to fight.  In Luke 9:54-56 Jesus rebuked his disciples because their hearts were deceived by their misguided feelings and not keeping focus on the primary goal of Christianity.

54            “And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou      that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?”

55            But he turned and rebuked them, and said, Ye know now what manner of spirit ye are of.”

56            “For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them.”

The word of Jesus shows us we are able to be misguided by a wrong spirit.  It is not ours to plan vengeance on the world, but to save it.  And saving it by Jesus means, not the flesh!  The outcome of “fleshly means” is this:

Mat. 26:52                 “Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into its place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”

The alternative to Jesus’ words and Spirit, is a spirit of Barabbas.  He wanted to right the wrongs of his day by the sword.  He ended up killing someone and being jailed for it.  Jesus in his mercy allowed Barabbas to be freed in his place.

Mk. 15:7                    “And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.”

Lk 23:19                     “(Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

When Jesus was betrayed the road less traveled became apparent.  Fear struck the disciples.  They fled for their lives.

Mt. 26:56                   “But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.  Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.”

They fled because they had no weapons.  They didn’t know their purpose nor Jesus”.  Remember it’s to save men’s lives, but it is not in a fleshly sense.  That’s the deception.  It’s always the deception.  We are tempted to take up the sword or flee.  Jesus stayed the course all the way to the cross.  It wasn’t his sword that got the world’s attention; it was his love to the death.

Paul who told us to put away childish things did not intend for us as men to take up a sword to defend our cause in this unjust world.  He clarifies our calling in Philippians 2:5-8:

5         “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”

6         “Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:”

7         “But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:”

8         “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

Jesus came as a servant spirit obedient unto death to point us in the same direction.  Paul prefaced those verses saying: Phil. 2:2-3

2     “Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.”

3         “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

It was in Paul’s anointed heart to encourage men to be mature in ways we are not accustomed.  When we are wronged we want to rise up and defend ourselves.  It’s not the

Spirit of Christ to do this.  Remember Jesus died to make his point.  Paul told us he dies daily.

1 Cor. 15:3              “I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.”

2 Cor. 4:10-11          “Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.”

“For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.”

It is the plan of Almighty God that we mature men be likeminded as Jesus and as Paul.  We must become less that Jesus might increase.  John the Baptist said that, remember?  God through his transforming power of the Holy Ghost wants to illuminate our hearts and minds.  He wants to give us the courage of Jesus and Paul to die rather than defend.  In this mortification of our reputation and personal accomplishments Jesus is the only one left to see.

The question isn’t, “What would Jesus do?”  It’s “How did Jesus do it?”  Remember he told the disciples “Follow me”…”and I will make you fishers of men.”  In Luke 4:1 it says:

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.”

In Luke 4:14 it says:

“And Jesus returned in the Power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.”

Jesus allowed himself to be led into the wilderness by the Holy Ghost.  It was his intimacy with the Father that caused him to trust even into wilderness experiences, battles and temptations of every kind.  Remember:

  • He had intimacy with his Father
  • He trusted the Holy Ghost to lead him
  • He submitted to the wilderness, to fasting and to temptation

He entered the wilderness full of the Holy Ghost.  But he returned from the wilderness, in the power of the Spirit.  What power are we wielding: our own strength, wisdom, manipulation of truth?

Jesus always had this in mind: give up self, walk in power.  We must take the road of the wilderness expecting to come out in the power of the Spirit.  God’s plan is for us through our wilderness, to become so selfless, that Jesus will appear to others through us.  You think you have a message to tell.  Is it God’s message to save the world through Jesus Christ’s shed blood?  Or is it to right the wrongs in society by manipulation of the law, taking up arms, planning for war…

This world is going to perish.  God has called certain ones to places in authority to deal with the ungodly and unruly.  It is not the responsibility or call of Christians to “crossover” the road of sanctification and selfless lifestyle into a cause to right the political wrongs in our society.  Jesus didn’t do it.  And he didn’t want us to get confused with the worldly attempts to change itself.  This world can only be changed when its heart changes.  And it starts with each of us.

Jesus was noticed after he left the wilderness.  He was in power to prove his identity and show his compassion only after leaving the wilderness experience in victory.  Trying to work the system any other way only brings strife, debate, envy and confusion.  Paul was a mature man of God.  He was learned, a man of reputation, position influence, power and authority.  What did he do with it?  His only use for it was to contrast his new direction in Christ.  He counted his accomplishments, position and authority but dung.  Listen to his words:

Phil. 3:2-17        2      “Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.”

3           “For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.”

4           “Though I might also have confidence in the flesh.  If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:”

5           “Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, and Hebrew of Hebrews; as touching the law, blameless.”

6           “Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.”

7           “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.”

8           “Yea doubtless, and I  count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,”

9           “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”

10        “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”

11        “If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”

12        Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.”

13        “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”

14        “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

15        “Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.”

16        “Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.”

17        “Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.”

Paul’s whole focus is pressing toward the mark of being more like Jesus and less of himself.  It’s a spiritual warfare within our own selves.  Any other battle takes us by pride into an ego trip of our own accomplishments of the flesh.  Even Paul says that he hasn’t got it all together. (vs. 12)  He keeps reaching for more of Jesus pressing forward to apprehend a spirit of likemindedness with Jesus.  Always remembering in humility that it wasn’t he who found Jesus; it was Jesus who found him.

“…if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Jesus Christ”

He really wants us to have this same mindset.  It’s not a choice of crossing over into a combination of spirit and flesh causes.  It’s one sided—it’s Spirit led to a wilderness of change, of separation, of cleansing, of emptying out of self, of patiently waiting for God’s hand of deliverance, not ours!

It’s a road less traveled.  Jesus did!  Can you trust him to strip you of all of you?  The place of the wilderness is not a fleshly monastic cleansing place.  It’s following Jesus to know him more, be him more.

People noticed Jesus in his power to heal after the wilderness.  We don’t want to be noticed.  We want Him to be noticed.  We don’t want to protect ourselves; we want to become less of ourselves.  As we fellowship in his sufferings willingly, we become broken men; broken of everything that has my name on it.  We can run from his place of betrayal in Gethsemane or we can embrace his call to be conformable unto his death.

Verse 17 says:

“Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so ye have us for an ensample.”

And verse 20 says how we are to converse:

“For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

We must change our direction from striving in the flesh…to trusting in Jesus to subdue all things unto himself.  Will you do it?  Verse 21 says it well:

“…he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”

(Added text:  What was Jesus saying by his statement to the disciple who cut off the high priests servants’ ear?  Mat. 26:53     “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?”  He really doesn’t need any help!)

As men of God we are to encourage one another and spur one another on to good works.  But that’s just the thing, we can only encourage and spur.  The God thing is this:  we have to submit to the promptings of the Word of God ourselves.  It is hard to give up all that we have invested in a lie.  It is a humble place to admit, “I was wrong”.  But it is totally “Jesus”, to do it!  Paul did it.  He knew it was worth leaving all of him behind to find Christ more deeply.  Are you willing to take the scriptural mandate to give up yourself for more of Jesus?

Satan comes craftily into Christians lives to deceive us by drawing us off the path of the wilderness to a more bold prideful front line battle full of power and admiration, authority, self wisdom, manipulation and callousness of heart.  He tried it with Jesus in the wilderness.  Remember, he tempted him to have all the glory ahead of time without the cross.  It never works any other way.  God’s way is Birth, Death, and Resurrection…in that order.

Many Christians after new birth, run away from the death of self and try to claim the promises of the resurrection.  Jesus said “follow me”.  He didn’t say, “Go another way”, or “You can omit this step in my plan”.  It is in brokenness that the blood of Jesus pours forth out of our wounds.  Any other way is death.  Blood is shed by broken flesh.  Jesus’ blood was shed by his brokenness.  Without his blood shed there is no remission of sin, only wages that brings death.

In the Old Testament when Solomon built his temple for God, he later brought in the ark of the covenant and placed it in the Holy Place.  What happened there was significant afterwards.

I Kings 8:10-11       “And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the Holy Place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord.”

“So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.”

The “mercy seat” of the ark was empty of blood.  God only shows mercy through blood.  As his glory cloud filled the temple his judgment began to fall on all those in the room.  They “could not stand to minister because of the cloud”.  The yolk of Jesus is light.  The burden of judgment is heavy.  To stay in that Holy Place without blood on the mercy seat meant death to the priests.

Jesus was broken; his blood spilt for us removes all judgment and pours out mercy to us.  If we do not follow Jesus through brokenness, we become like that mercy seat of judgment.  It only brings death.  “The wages of sin is death”…”the gift of God is Jesus Christ”.  His brokenness, his blood, his atoning for our sin brings grace and mercy.

If you want to see a changed world, you must humble yourself, be broken and let the blood of Jesus pour out of your wounds to bring mercy and power to heal to others.  It only works this way…and it is in the wilderness that he leads us to, that it takes place.  Any other way is counterfeit, confusing and will not bring life.  It will in fact bring the spirit of Barabbas, a seditious, prideful, arrogant and eventually murderous results.  Jesus’ way is the only way.

You have to choose to recover yourself out of the snare. (IITim. 2:26)  It’s humble, but gloriously freeing of the soul.  “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (IICor. 3:17)  Why not allow the Holy Ghost to change you from glory to glory? (vs.18)

God’s Love and Chastening

Hebrews chapter 12 is very challenging to receive.  Yet without it we are lost within ourselves.  Only by giving up ourselves and trusting Jesus with our whole heart, being transparent and honest with Him, can we truly find intimacy with him, power to change, and peace to prove it.

Heb. 12:1,2, 5-7, 11-15

1         “…let us lay aside every weight, and the sin that doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”

2         Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

5      “…my son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:”

6      “For whom the Lord loveth, he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son when he receiveth.”

7      “If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as sons…”

11     “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterwards it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”

            12     “…Lift up your hands…and feeble knees…”

13     “…and make straight paths for your feet…”

14     “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

15     “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.”

I have written all this to you Scott, to help you to rightly divide the Word of Truth and to allow the Word of God to separate soul and spirit, joint and marrow and the thoughts and intents of your heart.  It is my humble intent to help you to see that you “oppose yourself”.  If  you don’t see it, you cannot recover yourself out of the snare you are in.  If on the other hand your understanding is opened, you must run to the wilderness of God and let him purge you and bring you out cleansed, refocused, and empowered by his Holy Ghost to glorify Jesus as he sees fit.

Godspeed my brother,

                                    Love in Jesus Christ,

                                                                        Jim Lanigan

============================================================================================================

Dear Cousin David,

I know that you are thinking I have gone off the deep end with being King James only, 911 being an inside job, vaccines, and now being a Ron Paul supporter. I believe that all these things are related among other related items, but currently these four are the most important. It’s the need for you to understand why these subject that are so important; because without this foundational information you will have major problems knowing what is really going on here in the end times, and how the Main Stream Media (MSM) is lying to us, that include Fox, who may be the worst. It is really a warning, which is my reasonable service to love my neighbors, enemies, and just caring for my brothers, and so as not to go the way of Cain.

However now, with the risk of letting the fact getting in the way of your current perception of my mad assertions, I must continue to direct you to the facts, information, and just the plain VERITAS, of these various related fronts.

I believe the most feasible way to help one see the light of these matters is to direct you to web sites that you can be educated by, however finding the truth requires a concerted effort, time and study of what is really going on, turn off your TV and other distractions, and start reading your King James and the current true information that is available while it is still available, also discussing these issue among each other will lead us all in the wisdom of how to deal with the precarious situation that we now all face.

First you need to know the Word of God is not just a Message, but all the words of God are all very important. So the changes and deduction or adding to these words are a RED ALERT!!!!!!

PLEASE IF ANYTHING! FIND OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT THE REAL HOLY BIBLE!

Look most people don’t understand they are being used by Satan in this matter, and really are good people who are being deceived by the cunning devised deception, Matthew 16:23  But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

This is why; don’t be fooled by those who seem to be the positional authority on the matter, you know the local pastor with the Degree in Theology, Master, PHD and other so called qualifications for there false propagations of the Big Lie. Most of them have never really even read the True Bible or know the facts and are only parroting the lies that where told them in there schooling or anti King James pundits. After you look into the facts you will find out there is no other conclusion that a real study can lead you to, that all revision version are perversions and another gospel, and really are the work of anti-Christ; an in my opinion I feel that such people that do not see this are blind and have not receive the love of the truth, which is a dangerous position to be in. You may hang on for a while that the other version can be useful, but as you continue to educate your self you will find that new versions are totally destructive, 2 Peter 2:20  For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. So without further a due start with

There are other sites that are the following, and for your information the awareness has been going on since the attack began, however many are just waking up. New versions have done there damage, and some have been indoctrinate with strange teachings such as Rapture and the ecumenical movement and all that goes with it, so there thinking is just clearing up, however the Holy Ghost is reveling many things to many different groups. So there are people with various degrees of understanding on the issues some more zealous than others and some more spiritually astute and other more scholarly; with all that is going on this is still helpful because all that is involved the combined effort is necessary. God will heal us once his people which are called by his name turn from there wicked ways, pray, seek his face, and humble themselves. 2 Chronicles 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Second “The False Flag” go to  http://www.ae911truth.org/

245  architectural and engineering professionals have laid out the FACTs about the 3 buildings of 911

Add on to that Alex Jones websites, www.infowars.com from there you can link to several other web sites that will guide you to real information. I would also strongly recommend you listen to Alex Jones regularly, I have found Alex to be the most fully informed, honest and sincere person I have ever listen to, he is also a real Christian. Also you may subscribe to his website http://prisonplanet.tv/index.html  and see many movies about these issues, I would suggest you watch EndGame and Terror Storm, and if you can get a copy of Loose Change Final Cut, this will kind of get you caught up on things, but things are now changing fast so we all need to stay on top of it.

Third Vaccines, the reason I bring this up because of the immediate implications it has, much of this is just a cog in the clockwork of the New World Order. There are many related items to this but you need to know not to get flu shots, vaccines and other medications that are designed to slow kill you and your love ones. http://www.newstarget.com/vaccines.html

http://www.marytocco.com/

These two websites would be the most helpful in giving you the information that you should be able to come up the proper conclusion.

Fourth is Ron Paul, why Ron Paul? You know the kook who wants to run the country by the constitution, and return us on that path, which has sound money, get rid of the IRS, and also does not want us not to be building an world empire with over 700 bases in over 130 countries, which is totally bankrupting our country. If you look into what is going on with the just our money system, it would be helpful to check out Aaron Russo movie Freedom to Fascism

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1656880303867390173

You will start to see what is happening in this country and how the money system is part of the plan to integrate America into a Global World Order or the New World Order.

Also a helpful movie is Debt for Money

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9050474362583451279

I sure you want to keep America a sovereign nation and not lose our freedoms and go into a police state control by the United Nation. So this information is important as far as our duty as citizens of the United State of America goes.  Duty is ours, Results is God’s.

All this well take time to get you up to speed, you will need to lay down the distraction, TV, sports, etc. and make the time to investigate and study, it’s the truth so what worth more than the truth? Really it is about life

  1. Jonathon Says:
    January 23rd, 2008 at 2:01 pm e

I felt like I was reading my own words off the page. I likewise was sharing similar info to my cousin; unfortunately, after a while he began blowing me off. Mental fatigue, and would not do the research. The fact of the matter is most people are not in a position to receive this info. They go into a catatonic state because they cannot comprehend that they are living in a ‘negative’ world, while by the grace of God, live in the ‘positive’.

At first, it is sweet to the taste, but then bitter in the belly. There was a time that I had to completely cut myself off from everything to get my bearings straight. But like a moth to the flame, the desire for truth trumped my desire for comfort.

They need to be spoon fed, because, like someone who has been without substantive, nutritive food their whole life, they will spiritually (physically) reject it if given in large quantities, a natural reflex.

Nevertheless, we realize that the day is short and the people we care for must be alerted before the night comes.

Many who have joined the “revolution” may or may not realize the spiritual implications being screen-played before us, having eyes yet not seeing, having ears and not yet hearing.

Yet, in fact, I have discovered there are more non-Christians who are awaking to the truth than professing Christians, very similar to the first century beginning at the time of Jesus Christ; the battle in the “church” may be worse than in the “secular” world, and to top it all off, they are standing up and fighting for what they discovering!

If you ever want to see “truthers” standing against the “establishment”, watch the movie titled: “The Radicals”. Michael Sattler became the spokesman for the Anabaptist movement in the 16th Century. At his trial, he said something that raised the hairs on my head, because I had said something similar to those words when I was speaking to some fellow “Christians”.

Accused of heresy, Michael Sattler defended himself in part (quote from sattlers.org):

“If the Turks should come, we ought not to resist them; for it is written: Thou shalt not kill. We must not defend ourselves against the Turks and others of our persecutors, but are to beseech God with earnest prayer to repel and resist them. But that I said, that if warring were right, I would rather take the field against the so-called Christians, who persecute, apprehend and kill pious Christians, than against the Turks, was for this reason: The Turk is a true Turk, knows nothing of the Christian faith; and is a Turk after the flesh; but you, who would be Christians, and who make your boast of Christ, persecute the pious witnesses of Christ, and are Turks after the spirit.”

It’s a big chunk to explain, but the point is to say that I would rather stand beside genuine non-Christians who passionately pursue after the TRUTH, than hypocritical Christians who only pay lip service to God while tongue-lashing (or worse) “the radicals.”

D.A. Waite emails and responses

My responses was simply was, "I guess the King James Translaters where confused when they translated Romans 3:30  Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. "

I respect Mr Waite,  even though he never responded to my answer to his confused response about faith, I can only conclude he has no answer.  He has done some fine work for the defensive of the King James, although he lack the understanding of  the Holy Ghost, and I am not sure of his total stance on the Inerrancy, see that he seem to infer that the King James is the best translation and relies on the Greek and Hebrew for clarification.

8/18/07

Dear Scott,
"By faith" or "through faith" mean the same.  As far as the section B on the TRINITY,  "We believe that the so-called "sign gifts" (1 Corinthians 12:7-11) of the Holy Spirit (such as tongues, prophecy, knowledge, etc.) ceased with the completion of the New Testament canon around 90 or 100 A.D. and are not present today (1 Corinthians 13:8-12; Hebrews 1:2; 2:34)."
If you so not agree with this, you would not be able to become a DBS member.  But thank you for your interest and agreement on the other parts of our ARTICLES OF FAITH.  Pastor D. A. Waite

:

Dear Dr. Waite,

Thank you so much for taking your precious time to respond, I find myself
felling very humbled and honored that you would address my concern, and
yes your explanation was, helpful, meek and acceptable. I do believe your
ministry is the most important of it's time; I am compelled and
constrained to stress ministering the absolute necessity to stipulate that
the words of God are the gospel. Without the church turning back to the
words of God there can be no great revival in the land to the saving of
souls to the glory of God. O how we have been hindered by this cunning
devised attack on the words of God, let us no longer be ignorant.
Now I must confess I honestly had overlook two other item in the Articles
of Faith after I sent my first email, one is probably just semantics;
Section C., it being we are born again by grace and not by faith, but
through faith. The reason this seem important to me is that revisions
bibles have change the faith of God and Christ to faith in God and Christ.
By saying we are saved by faith in Christ is like a work we have done. I
know you do not believe that, but it is like we are infected by these
revisions and must be on guard of there leaven.
Second, is in Section B. first I think there is a typo at the end, there
is no Hebrews 2:34 as shown. But of a greater matter, I have gone over
this resistant of the gifts with other Baptist and have proven the error
of there thinking by the scriptures. It amazes me how men who study the
words of God can resist the power of God, but such is to this moment of
decisiveness I have been brought.
I know there is a lot of kooky false manifestation out there, but what
better way to cover up the great workings of the Holy Ghost. Time is
short, I believe, God is bring about the reconciliation of all things
sooner than we all think, let us not be hindered by ignorance any more.
I would be blessed with the opportunity to reproof and corrected you by
the scriptures that God’s words are not vain on this subject and that the
gifts truly do operation in true believers.
Betwixt us and that is Acts 7:51, I hope and pray that this received in
meekness, faith and temperance.

God Bless you and all that you do,
In the love of Christ and
Respectfully, for Jesus Christ is Lord.

Dear Scott,
Thank you for your letter and for your interest in the Dean
Burgon Society. I am glad you noticed our new headings on our Dean
Burgon Society site labeled "JOIN THE DBS" which were suggested recently
by Dr. Williams, one of our DBS Vice Presidents.
The operative words here are "complete clarity." For example, in
2 Corinthians 6:14, the King James Bible has an excellent translation of
these verses. If someone is interested in "complete clarity," he MUST
go to the Greek structure. A person does not need to have "complete
clarity." If he does not want to go deeper into the very Words of God
given by the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit to the human
writer, that is all right. The DBS does not compel anyone to go beyond
the KJB if they do not wish to do so. I am a Baptist pastor. As I
preach verse by verse from a Bible book (without any boasting or
prideful motives), when it helps to inform my audience with "complete
clarity," I will often bring out some of the various meanings of words
or rules of the Greek language that I have studied. I believe the Lord
would have me do this since I am familiar with some of these things. I
would not expect a pastor who never studied Greek to do this, nor would
I fault him for not doing it. Each of us must work with the tools God
has placed in our hands to the best of our abilities.
"Complete clarity" would show a person, by the grammar of the
Greek language, that Paul is telling the Corinthians to "STOP AN ACTION
ALREADY IN PROGRESS" since it is in the present tense, rather than
telling them "DON'T EVEN BEGIN AN ACTION." Evidently, the Corinthians
were being unequally yoked with unbelievers and Paul told them to "STOP
IT!"
Many more illustrations for "complete clarity" could, of course
be given. The DBS is not compelling anyone to go beyond the King James
Bible's accurate translation. The statement applies only to those
seeking "complete clarity."
I hope this is somewhat explanatory. Pastor D. A. Waite,

Sirs,
I have read the Articles of Faith, and find them acceptable, with one
exception.
If you would please, I have a problem with one word; if you could please
expound on.

Section A. The Bible ......"while at the same time realizing that, in
some
verses., we must go back to the underlying original language Texts for
complete clarity, and also compare Scripture with Scripture.

This word "MUST" seem to indicate that once again the laymen must rely on
the advance scholar to clarify the scripture.
If "must" was "may" I really would not have a problem, however why does
any Bible believer have to now rely on any further clarification of the
translated Bible? Comparing Scripture with Scripture in the English of
the
King James, should be sufficient, once one has accepted the Translation
as
the Words of God.

I really love your work, and would love to be a member, although I will
continue to a supporter.
I would really appreciate a clarification of this position, for further
consideration of being a member.

Respectfully,
